Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

Potatoes
Milk
Salt
Salted Butter

Preparation:

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water and bring them to simmer for about 20 minutes. Check the potatoes and cook further if needed.
  2. After boiling, peel of the skin with fork(because it’s hot!) and put aside in a mixing bowl. As the skin peeled, quickly put the butter on the potatoes, one by one.
  3. Mashed the potatoes using wire masher and add milk bit by bit. How much the milk added depends on the texture that you desire it to be. (I prefer not to add too much milk hence not too creamy!)
  4. Taste the batter, you would need to add more butter and salt to make it tasty. If you intend to eat it on it’s own, you can add sweet corn. Otherwise you can eat it with stew, or roasted chicken, etc.
